9-hole Bermuda Grass course with water in play. Weekday green fees for non-members are $10.00 for 9 holes during peak season. Same for Weekends. This short course was built on
rolling terrain. The fairways are narrow and tree lined. The toughest hole is #4, a 343-yard, par 4, requiring a downhill tee shot to a landing area by a pond. The gree is elevated and there is a greenside bunker on the right.

narrow fairways as well as some forgiving fairways.

course has narrow fairways and small greens. The course is relatively flat with a variety of hardwood and pine trees lining the fairways. The course is not heavily bunkered, but a creek winds through the front nine, and one small lake can come into
play on the back.

Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, connected by a freeflowing canal, together form one of the largest manmade bodies of water in the U.S. The 40 mile long
peninsula that lies between these huge lakes was

developed by the Tennessee Valley Authority as a national recreation area. Now a World Biosphere Reserve, this vast outdoor playground is a great vacation
spot for the entire family. There is fishing, boating, waterfront tent and RV camping, swimming, hiking and unlimited chances to learn about nature.

The Golden Pond Visitor Center & Planetraium located midway along The Trace, LBL's major north-south artery. Stargaze in the planetarium and stop in the
exhibit room to learn more about the history of hte people and traditions of the area. The Nature Stattion features broad range of plant and animal exhibits, along with staff led excursions into the backcountry. You can see a pair of endangered red
wolves, bald and golden eagles, coyotes and barn owls. Wildlife observation

observation area and several short trails, including a .2 mile barrier-free trail, surround the center. You can also explore the 750-acre Elk & Bison Prairie,
a demonstration of Kentucky's native barren habitiat, which disappeared from the region 200 years ago. It contains a 3.5

mile scenic drive where you can view the largest publicly owned bison herd east of the Mississippi, as well as the first elk to inhabit the area for more than
140 years. At the southren end of the LBL is The Homeplace-1850. This living farm, with 16 original log structures, re-creates the life of an area farm fmily before the Civil War. Demonstrations of butter making, tobacco firing, weaving and plowing
take place throughout the season.
